Mentor preparation (focusing on interpersonal skills)
Format
A first meeting of up to 2 hours is held to align needs and understand the program. This meeting covers topics such as :
• What are the benefits and how does mentoring work?
• What are the advantages?
• Each person's role (mentor vs. mentee)
• The mentoring professional's profile
• Tips and traps
• How to get the most out of the mentoring process
• Suggested work itinerary
After this first stage, participants are divided into groups of up to 5 people and take part in 3 to 5 monthly/fortnightly sessions/meetings lasting up to 2 hours. Each meeting will include behavioral content pills (mini lectures) related to the development needs of each group of mentors. Video lessons will also be available to the group on SETA's distance learning platform, at no additional cost to the client.
The number of sessions, duration and format of the program can be adjusted according to the needs of each client.
