If your company wants to increase the number of women in leadership positions, you can count on SETA's Mentor Training Program, which prepares leaders for Mentoring Women. The aim is to prepare these mentors to contribute to the personal and professional development of women as they build and/or develop their careers. The mentor has the noble role of sharing his or her knowledge and learning, providing the necessary support to enhance capacities, through action plans, clear and defined goals, enabling these women to achieve better results and professional opportunities.

Impact: increasing gender equality in the organization and autonomy and evolution of women as protagonists of their own lives.

Format:

Mentors take part in a training program and receive constant support. Periodic (virtual or face-to-face) meetings are held, lasting between 2 and 4 hours on average, in which the following topics are covered:

- What skills and behaviors are needed to be a mentor?
- Protocol for mentoring sessions: planning of each session (how it works, rules of coexistence and agreements, expectations and deliverables)
Tips for conducting sessions
- How to establish a connection with the mentee
- What elements are worked on in each development cycle with the mentees? How do you monitor their progress?
- The differences between: coaching & mentoring
- How do you prepare to give and receive feedback to your mentors?
- What were the challenges encountered and what areas need improvement, as mentors and mentees, throughout the journey?
- Setting clear goals: 'What mentor do I want to be?'
- How will success be measured?
- Roles & Responsibilities
- Effective communication: How to communicate with each profile
- Construction and monitoring of the mentee's action plan
- Mentor and mentee learnings and insights

Assessments can be used to further complement the learning and self-knowledge journey of both mentor and mentee.

At each meeting, we work on behavioral content pills (mini lessons) related to the development needs of each group of mentors and the profile of the mentees. A series of video lessons will also be available on SETA's distance learning platform, which can be used pre- or post-work.

The number of sessions, duration and format of the program can be adjusted according to the needs of each client.
